INDEPENDENCE DAY 5K AND POOL ACTIVITIES FOR THE DAY

Hello Everyone,

Saturday is a huge day at the pool.  

First is the Independence Day 5k.  3.1 miles that courses through the Baymount Subdivision.  Runners/walkers will rule the road, very little or no traffic to worry about.  After you run, feel free to jump in the pool and cool off.

Second is the neighborhood parade at 10am.  Residents decorate their lawnmowers, cars, golf carts and anything else that rolls to parade through the neighborhood.  

And the BIG event.  11am the pool opens for the annual Independence Day Bash.  Hot-dogs, candy and chips are all only a quarter ($0.25), yes you read correct.  The dogs will be ready around 11:30 and games will start between 1-2pm.  Games are: balloon toss, pie eating contest, swim for money, BIG SPLASH - really big splashes, and the belly flop, very impressive.  

Hope to see everyone there for a fun day at the pool.

Come out and enjoy a great 5k in Statesville.  7-4-2015 at 8am, Independence Day 5k.  The course winds through the Baymount Subdivision.  Very low traffic and a great course.  All entries get full use of the pool for the weekend and can enjoy the Independence Day party.

Today's event! Preparations are underway

Good afternoon everyone! 

Work is diligently underway here at Elf Headquarters and we are anxiously awaiting all of our runner’s arrival! We have decided to move the Catalinas’ concert inside due to the weather, we will be enjoying the Catalinas’ in the SCS gym starting around 5:30, this is sure to be a jolly good time. The kids Fun Run will be cancelled due to the wet conditions on the field, for safety reasons it is not wise to use the inflatables. There is still plenty of fun to be had so be sure to join us and enjoy the  2014 Running of the Elves.
